Today we were sooooooo tired when we got up (all that late night blogging caught up to me...). We had another delicious breakfast served by wonderful Raymond. Then we went to the island Lantau via subway and stopped at the outlet malls, but most of us didn't want to shop so we chilled at Starbiessss (Starbucks in Hong Kong has so much food lol). Then we waited in line for a million hours to get on the gondola cable car thing to take us to BIG BUDDHA. The cable car was sooooo sweet and we got an amazing view of the island. When we got off the gondola thing we walked to the restaurant at the nearby monastery. It was a hit with the vegetarians (Desiree mostly) but the soup resembled swamp water to the rest of us (complete with full sized sticks). Next we walked up like 280 stairs to the big Buddha and went inside the museum in his belly. It's not really in his belly. The
view from up there was fantastic. Then we bussed to a fishing village on stilts on the island called Tai O and walked through the STANKY fish markets. We died of stench but it was still cool. Also there were wild cows roaming around and an old lady smacked them with her fan. We headed back to the hotel via busses and ferry and cabs and got an awesome view of the skyline. Early night tonight and room service :D
